Hi, my name is Simone and I’m from Los Angeles. Growing up in LA , as well as being biracial, exposed me to all different sorts of people, ideas, and cultures to make me who I am today. A creative person at my very core, I’ve always been interested in how a piece of work can communicate and interact with people - whether that be a painting, a sculpture, an installation, or a building. This very human relationship, and my affinity for fashion inspired me to pursue a thesis that explored how architecture and fashion reacts to and provokes us. This ultimately led me to study the intersection of architecture and fashion, and how these foundations of humanity can grow together to better aid us in the future.
